Thanks to some coaxing and some price guides from saintawesome, I picked up a pristine copy of Fatal Frame II from Gamestop. It even has the manual still. There's just something I like about the thrill of finding a somewhat rare dvd/cd/book/game in stores rather than finding them online. It's like going on a treasure hunt.

Beat the first Metal Gear game. It was okay, nothing really exciting. It took me around six hours because I am lame and had to backtrack many times and I never paused. I think being made by the developers of Brawl is causing this game to have some unrealistic expectations. Or maybe that is just me. I fell like if I play it I will be expecting Final Smash moves and a Subspace Emissary type story mode.

Alas no other distractions for me. I have a pile of MGS games waiting for me.

This is the game that I was hoping Heart of Darkness was going to be. As it turns out that game is merely 40 levels of the boy dying in incredibly horrifying ways. Anyway, yeah, Boy and His Blob remake looks sweet.

Wii Fit was available at Best Buy. I went in there with my friend and there was TWO copies. It was like it was fate. So of course after the "can I afford this" and the "No groceries for me" debate, I ended up taking that sucker home. Man it is so addicting ( Read more... )

Hurray^^ If you haven't played either of the Obscure games yet I recommend them. Though I would suggest you get a companion to game with you as the combat can get tough at times. The second outing of the series is creepier than the original. It has a more horrifying surreal look than the last game which was more straight forward creature scares ( ( Read more... )

I never had the chance to go to one of these shows (there was one near me a couple of years ago, but it didn't happen) but I would love to go this year.
